Press Operator Location:
Tulsa, OK Shift:
Monday-Friday, typically 6:00/7:00 AM-3:30/4:00 PM; occasional
Saturdays Pay:
$16-$18+/hour, DOE BlueWorx Staffing is looking for a PressOperator to join a precision manufacturing operation in the Tulsa area. This position focuses on forming sheet metal components using press equipment and established forming techniques while working from engineering drawings and specifications. What You'll Do as a Forming Press Operator Operate hydro presses and applicable forming equipment Perform basic and complex sheet metal forming operations Use check-and-straighten techniques to achieve required dimensions Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use calipers and other measuring equipment to verify dimensions Inspect formed components to ensure they meet quality requirements Maintain quality and workmanship standards throughout the forming process Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures What We're Looking for in a Forming Press Operator Previous sheet metal forming, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred Hydro press experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Ability to accurately use calipers and other measuring equipment Basic math and mechanical skills Dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities Pay is negotiable based on experience and skill level. #HPTUL
