Shift:
5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday Overtime may be required. KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The company's state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking high performance team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude. Submit your completed application at keithwalkingfloor.com/current openings Essential Functions Operate straightening press equipment to straighten metal parts according to specifications. Set up presses, tooling, and fixtures for assigned jobs. Operate Wheelabrator equipment as required to clean and prepare metal parts according to work instructions and safety procedures. Able to read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts. Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality standards are met. Make adjustments to equipment to achieve required tolerances. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized. Meet agreed upon manufacturing goals on time. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Previous press operation experience preferred. Able to read tape measure, pressure gauge, precision measurement tools. Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Working Conditions Works in a Production Shop atmosphere. Exposed daily to continual noise from machines. Equipment/Machinery Used Straightening press, Wheelabrator, and Forklift. Physical Requirements Able to stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
