Boilerroom Equipment Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC fabricator who has personally set up and operated BOTH a hydraulic CNC press brake and a CNC plasma cutting table.

PLASMA CUTTING SYSTEM

Brand-New Plasmatic Pro 6' × 12' CNC Plasma Cutting System You do not need experience on these exact makes or models, but you must have hands-on experience independently setting up and operating comparable CNC press brake AND CNC plasma cutting equipment. What We Mean by "Operator Experience" We are looking for someone who has actually run the machines . Experience as a helper, assistant, material handler, loader/unloader, or someone who worked alongside a machine operator does not meet the experience requirements for this position. The successful candidate must be able to independently set up and operate both types of equipment, read fabrication drawings, make necessary adjustments, and produce accurate parts without basic operator training. What You'll Be Doing You'll fabricate sheet-metal and light-plate components using carbon steel and stainless steel from 16 gauge through 3/16".

Responsibilities include:

Set up and operate our U.S. Industrial 200-Ton × 13' Hydraulic Press Brake Set up and operate our brand-new Plasmatic Pro 6' × 12' CNC plasma cutting system Set up and adjust the CNC press brake backgauge Select appropriate press brake tooling Determine bend sequences Apply bend allowances and compensate for springback Set up and adjust the plasma cutting system for production Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols Make machine/program adjustments to meet print requirements Perform first-article and in-process inspections Produce accurate, consistent parts while maintaining safe work practices

To be considered, you must have: Hands-on experience setting up AND operating a hydraulic CNC press brake Hands-on experience setting up AND operating a CNC plasma cutting table Experience on BOTH types of machines — not just one Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel Experience fabricating material from approximately 16 ga through 3/16" Strong blueprint/fabrication drawing reading skills Ability to perform machine setups and work independently This is not an entry-level, helper, assistant, or operator-trainee position. If you have operated only a press brake OR only a plasma table, you do not meet the minimum requirements for this position.
