Responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
• Work in conjunction with other employees and lead persons.

Equipment Preparation :

Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.

Machine Operation :

Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data

Operational Maintenance :

Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods

Safety and Cleanliness :

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Use tool preset machine, precision measuring instruments and appropriate material handling equipment. Work from drawings, specifications, instructions, or visual display units. Perform fixture change-overs, loading and unloading of production parts, on-line piece parts inspection and manual data input to insure specified finishes/ tolerances Monitor control messages and take appropriate corrective action. Perform utility functions to maintain process Will perform housekeeping and deburr internal to machining operations. Fills out PM check lists and may assist in the PM of the machine.

Other Duties :

Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education:

• Press Brake machine experience
• CNC machine experience
• Must have structural steel fabrication experience
• Must be able to read prints and layout assemblies per print

Instruction Following :

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

Reading and Comprehension :

Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions

Basic Math :

Ability to understand and use basic math for measurements and calculations

Measuring Devices :

Knowledge of using measuring devices

Work Orders :

Ability to read and understand work orders

• High School Diploma
• Must have the ability to lift 20-50lbs
