Job Description

Automated door manufacturer in Denver, PA is looking for a 1st shift Press Brake and Roll Form Operator to start ASAP. This position provides weekly pay working Monday through Friday.
Pay Range:
$20-25/hr (possibly higher depending on experience) 1st shift : 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m Monday -
Friday Job Description:
The Press Brake and Roll Form Operator sets up and operates brake press and roll forming equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role also includes setting up and operating other types of metal forming and cutting equipment, inspecting parts for accuracy, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment. Responsibilities Set up brake press and other metal forming equipment to bend, notch, punch, or straighten a variety of metal parts according to specifications. Prepare, load, and unload material for production operations in a safe and efficient manner. Check the width, length, and angles of metal parts against blueprints or specification drawings to ensure accuracy. Read and interpret work orders and/or drawings to produce parts required for finished products. Inspect processed parts for defects and take corrective action when necessary to maintain quality standards. Ensure proper operation of equipment by following preventative maintenance policies and procedures and verifying that all tools are in good condition and correctly calibrated prior to use. Essential Skills Proven ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings. Ability to use measuring tools such as protractors, calipers, and tape measures accurately. Solid knowledge and understanding of basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations. Strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical/machine manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-4 years of press brake experience, preferred. 2-4 years of roll forming experience, preferred. Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and shears in a manufacturing setting. Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on bringing solutions and embracing challenges. Detail-oriented approach with a keen eye for precision and accuracy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reamstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
