Press Brake Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in a dynamic and industrious machine shop environment. The position involves operating press brake machinery and requires the ability to read and interpret machining blueprints. This is a daylight position with hours from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, extending to 4pm when busy, totaling 50 hours per week. Responsibilities Operate press brake machinery with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret machining blueprints to guide your work. Bend and press metal according to blueprint specifications. Work independently to meet production goals. Ensure quality and accuracy in all fabrication and fitting processes. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Press Brake. Proven experience in an industrial machine shop environment. Ability to read and understand machining blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Skills in welding, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication. Experience with fitting processes in a machine shop. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
