Job Summary:

Our metal fabrication company is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating press brake machines to fabricate metal components with precision. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Duties:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections using tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize workload and meet production schedules.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the press brake machine.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating press brake machines.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in quality inspection processes.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes & techniques is a plus.
