Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Expected hours: No less than 40 hours per week
B SHIFT:
Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00 pm - 5:00 am (10% Shift differential) Expected hours: No less than 36 hours per week •Punctuality and attendance are key• Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form sheet metal and plate materials to precise specifications. This role requires knowledge of press brake operations, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication techniques to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate press brake equipment to produce metal parts according to work orders and blueprints Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate part dimensions and tolerances Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications. Input and adjust machine programs, bend allowances, and tooling setups for efficient production runs. Select, install, and maintain press brake tooling, dies, and punches; perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues Work to minimize waste and downtime while following all safety policies and procedures. Communicate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to resolve production issues and improve processes
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication bend calculations. Proficiency with press brake programming and setup. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and work orders. Skilled in precision measuring instruments Self-motivated On-time and reliable. At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion Exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, dust, sparks, moving equipment, and varying temperatures Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear Use of hands and fingers to operate tools and machines
