CNC Press Brake Setup & Forming Technician Anchor Custom Fabrications La Vergne, TN Job Details $18 - $22 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Join Anchor Fabrication as a CNC Press Brake Setup & Forming Technician At Anchor Fabrication in Lavergne, Tennessee, your day on 1st shift begins with precision. You'll set up and run Amada and Trumpf press brakes to bend, form, and straighten sheet metal parts to exacting specifications—working independently and with minimal supervision. What your day looks like Review blueprints, verify job travelers, and plan tooling and sequences. Set up and operate all machines within the Brake Department. Perform first-article and last-piece inspections; make program or tooling adjustments as needed. Apply a practical understanding of material properties to achieve accurate bends. Record labor and job details, and complete basic clerical reporting. Keep your cell, tooling, and work area clean and safe. Flex as needed—overtime or a different shift may be required based on company needs. Support other tasks as assigned. What you bring 5+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience preferred. Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills. GD&T knowledge and ability to pass a related test. Experience with Amada and Trumpf press brakes is a plus. Epicor ERP familiarity is a plus. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training is a plus.
