Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Mon-Thu General Job Description:
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from Machine Shop Supervisor and Manager. May receive day-to-day guidance in the performance of routine activities from Lead personnel. Follow detailed verbal and written instructions and procedures to safely set up and run press brake to bend and shape sheet metal. May operate a variety of machine tools, milling machine, punch press, press brakes and lathes, to produce small precision parts for diagnostic equipment housings and maintains records. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards - Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.
Experience:
1 to 2 years as a press brake operator preferred. Must be able to read blue prints, measuring tools, and lift heavy items.
Education, Training and Skills :
