Job Description
Press Brake Operator Shift:
- 2nd Shift (3:30PM-12AM/2AM)Pay:
$20-25 (DOE) Job Summary The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to bend, shape, and cut metal or other materials to meet specifications. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure quality production in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Set up and operate press brake machinery according to job specifications, including adjustments to bending angles, material size, and pressure settings.Blueprint Reading:
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine specific requirements for each job.Quality Control:
Conduct measurements and inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications and quality standards.Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues with machine operation, tooling, or material alignment to prevent defects.Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery and report any equipment issues to maintenance personnel.Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, wearing appropriate protective gear, and following established safety protocols.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance logs.Qualifications Experience:
3+years of experience operating a press brake or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with press brake controls, CNC programming (preferred), and blueprint reading. Attention toDetail:
Ability to conduct accurate measurements and make precise adjustments to produce high-quality parts.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks.Safety Mindset:
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety protocols. Preferred Qualifications Certification in CNC or other relevant manufacturing training. Previous experience with materials commonly used in press brake operations, such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing environment, where adherence to safety protocols and procedures is essential.Pay:
