Position Description Responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend and form sheet‑metal parts accurately and safely according to specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print. Set-up other equipment as assigned. Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines. Read and interpret blueprints, bend diagrams, and tolerances Set up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print. Must be able to operate all department equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required. Input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary. Assumes responsibility for inspection of parts. Work with engineering to produce parts to print. Works in a safe manner and doesn't endanger others. Keeps accurate inventory of tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education & Qualifications 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment. Preferably experience in press brake setup and operation. Must be able to read blueprints and use a variety of measuring instruments to determine the accuracy of setup. Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
