Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fin Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Fin Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining fin press machines used to produce high-quality aluminum fins for heat exchangers and other cooling components. Key Responsibilities Operate fin press machines to produce fins according to specified dimensions and quality standards. Load and unload aluminum coils, align tooling, and perform machine setups and adjustments. Monitor machine operations and product output to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Inspect fins for defects (burrs, bends, alignment issues) and take corrective action as needed. Maintain accurate production records, including part counts, downtime, and maintenance logs. Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist in basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of fin press equipment. Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to improve productivity and reduce scrap. Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with 5S and ISO standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in cross-training as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating press machinery or in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling, dies, and alignment principles. Proficiency in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
