Direct Hire RPM Staffing is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Brake Press Mechanics in Rowlett, Texas.Pay:
$22- 35/HR DOE Are you an experienced Brake Press Setup Specialist with a strong mechanical background and hands-on expertise with Amada equipment?
- Set up and prepare Amada brake press machines for production runs
- Install, remove, and change tooling according to job requirements and specifications
- Perform machine calibrations and mechanical adjustments to maintain precision and efficiency
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs to reduce downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance on Amada brake press equipment
- Verify machine setups meet production requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Collaborate with production teams to improve setup efficiency and machine performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Required
- 5-10 years of experience setting up and maintaining Amada brake press machines
- Strong knowledge of brake press tooling, setup procedures, and machine mechanics
- Proven ability to perform tooling changes and machine adjustments efficiently
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on press brake equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred
- Experience with CNC-controlled Amada press brakes
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing best practices
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
