In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, and operating CNC press brake machines (specifically Amada Press Brakes) to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components according to precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality parts while maintaining safety standards and optimizing machine efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines, ensuring proper calibration and tooling selection for each job. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with fabrication teams on sheet metal handling, tooling setups, and assembly processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, including proper use of hand tools, forklifts, and other machinery. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machining principles. Ability to use precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and other quality inspection instruments. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, angles, and tolerances accurately. Experience with tooling setup, sheet metal handling, and fabrication processes. Ability to work safely with forklifts, hand tools, and other machinery while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent blueprint reading skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
