Job Description
Press Brake Operator (Level II) -
Aerospace Manufacturing Location:
Kent, WA Shift:
Mon-Thurs 2pm-12:30am ($2/hr shift differential)
•Training on day shift for approx. 4 weeks

Comp:
$20 - $30 per hour We are hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a press brake to form metal parts to print and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake equipment Program machines and calculate bend allowances Select proper tooling for various metal thicknesses Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Inspect formed parts to ensure they meet specifications Identify and document nonconforming parts Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, angle finders, tape measures) Perform basic preventive maintenance and daily equipment checks Package completed parts and complete required documentation Maintain a clean, safe work area Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE Level II operators may assist with training Level I operators Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience Minimum 2+ years of press brake experience in metal fabrication (Vocational/technical training may substitute for experience) Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred Additional experience required for Level II placement Skills Strong blueprint reading skills Ability to calculate bend allowances Familiar with press brake tooling and setup procedures Experience with precision measuring instruments Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Team-oriented with strong attention to detail Physical & Work Environment Standing for extended periods Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs (with assistance or equipment) Reaching, bending, squatting as needed Industrial shop environment with noise, dust, fumes, and temperature variations PPE required (hearing, eye, hand, steel-toe footwear) Regular exposure to forklifts, cranes, and shop equipment Compliance Requirements This position requires ITAR compliance .
