Job Description

Overview Join our growing team here in a small manufacturing shop environment as a press brake operator. We have two press brakes that are both Amada, this position is to operate an Amada HRB1303 with a 3i control. We work four 10 hour days with overtime typically available on Friday. We utilize Fulcrum for a paperless work environment and offline programming as well. Responsibilities Operate, set up, and monitor press brake machines to perform precise bending operations on various sheet metal materials Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions to ensure accurate production runs Adjust machine parameters and tooling to achieve desired angles and dimensions according to specifications Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures Collaborate with team members on machine setup, tooling changes, and troubleshooting to optimize workflow Document production data, inspection results, and machine maintenance activities for quality control records Skills Proficiency in operating press brake machines along with familiarity with CNC programming and setup processes Strong mechanical knowledge including understanding of forming machines, tooling, and sheet metal fabrication techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprint accurately Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, tape measure, and other precision instruments for quality inspection Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills necessary for machining calculations and measurements Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols during machine operation Familiarity with hand tools, fabrication processes, tooling selection, and setup procedures for sheet metal work Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing craftsmanship and precision together!
