Job Summary We are seeking a Skilled Laser & Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a background working with sheet metal. Experience with Laser and Press Brake preferred. This role involves fabricating metal components to precise specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process. The Laser & Press Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate laser & press brake machines to cut, bend sheet metal according to specifications. Read and interpret prints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements. Set up tooling and fixtures for various bending operations. Perform quality checks using calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Familiarity with CNC machinery is preferred. Experience in fabricating sheet metal components is highly desirable. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
