• 27/hour, based on experience What You'll Do As a Brake Press Operator, you will set up, program, and operate brake press equipment to accurately form production parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include:

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production routings Set up, program, and operate brake press equipment Accurately position and orient workpieces in the machine Form and bend parts according to required specifications Use precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and quality Make machine and setup adjustments as needed Perform basic shop math and metric conversions Work with a variety of materials and production requirements Follow established quality and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Report quality, equipment, or production concerns as needed What We're Looking For 2+ years of brake press or related fabrication experience High school diploma or equivalent Ability to independently set up and operate brake press equipment Experience programming brake press machines Strong blueprint-reading skills Ability to read and understand specifications and routings Basic shop math skills Ability to perform metric conversions Experience using precision measuring equipment Experience working with a variety of materials preferred Familiarity with Safan brake press equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication skills and ability to work well with others Physical Requirements This position involves working in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to: Stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently use hands to handle parts, tools, and equipment Operate machinery using hands and feet Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, or balance Frequently push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds Occasionally push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a production environment Ready for Your Next Manufacturing Opportunity?
