WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

~ A skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator who takes pride in producing precise, high-quality parts while meeting production goals. Someone who can read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand bend sequences, dimensions, tolerances, and finished-part requirements. A detail-oriented individual who understands the importance of accuracy and consistency when forming metal parts. Someone who can efficiently set up and operate press brake equipment , including selecting and installing the proper tooling, setting machine parameters, and positioning material correctly. A proactive problem solver who can troubleshoot tooling, machine, material, or quality issues and make adjustments to ensure parts are produced correctly. Someone with strong measuring skills who is comfortable using tools such as tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment to verify part dimensions. A quality-focused team player who inspects finished parts, identifies defects or inconsistencies, and makes necessary adjustments without sacrificing efficiency. Someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple jobs, priorities, and production requirements. A safety-minded individual who consistently follows machine safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper material-handling practices. A reliable team player who communicates effectively with coworkers, leads, and supervisors and works collaboratively to meet department and production goals. • work 35 hours but get paid for 40;

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

~ Machine Setup & Operation Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and thickness Adjust machine parameters to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed Blueprint & Technical Interpretation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Understand bend allowances, tolerances, and material specifications Ensure all parts are produced according to design requirements Quality & Precision Measure and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools Verify finished components meet quality standards and specifications Identify defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality Production & Workflow Management Manage workload to meet production schedules and deadlines Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing demands Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste Equipment Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment Ensure tooling and machinery are in safe and optimal working condition Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly Safety & Workplace Organization Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work safely around heavy machinery, sharp materials, and industrial equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

~ High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of press brake operation experience preferred Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and bending techniques Experience with CNC press brakes is a plus Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills
