About Badgerland Industries Badgerland Industries is a metal manufacturer that manufactures stainless steel, steel, and aluminum parts. We take a drawing of a part and bring it to life through laser cutting, forming on a brake press, to welding, assembly and powder coating. Summary of Job At Badgerland Industries the Press Brake operators are responsible for operating press brakes that bend parts to the specified tolerance per a blueprint. Press brake operators must be able to read basic blueprints, comfortable using and reading measuring instruments. All employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Shift Overview 1st and 2nd shift Openings 8-hour shift for 1st shift and 4
  • 10 hour shifts for 2nd shift 1st Shift (Monday
  • Friday 6 a.m.
  • 2 p.m.) 2nd Shift (Monday
  • Thursday 2 p.m.
  • 12 a.m.) Occasional mandatory overtime $20.00
  • $30.
00 per hour depending on experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Regular attendance is required Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks Read and understand blueprints for specifications and tolerances Read and apply measurements to parts for conformance to specifications Read and interpret job routings and paperwork Lift light and/or heavy parts Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1
  • 2 years of experience is highly preferred Key abilities needed to complete essential duties Perform assigned tasks Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills Recognize and react to abnormal operating conditions Use and wear appropriate PPE Perform basic counting tasks Read tape measure and other, work orders and blueprints effectively Follow instructions from Supervisor and co-workers Individually lift and manipulate parts weighting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
