Overview Join our team as a Commercial Printing Bindery Operator and become a vital part of the production process that transforms printed materials into finished, high-quality products. In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain various bindery and finishing equipment, ensuring that each project meets our standards for quality and precision. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional print solutions for a wide range of clients. Responsibilities Operate and oversee bindery machinery including cutting, folding, binding, and finishing equipment to produce polished printed materials. Interpret production documents and specifications accurately to execute print jobs efficiently and precisely. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies. Adjust and maintain industrial equipment. Collaborate with prepress teams utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other prepress software to prepare files for printing. Qualifications Proven experience operating binding and finishing machinery such as cutters, paper binders, folders, and large-format printers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on industrial equipment. Familiarity with digital printing processes and workflows Knowledge of graphic design principles, layout design and typography Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
