The Flex and Die Cut Supervisor will lead and operate a new corrugated flexographic printer and rotary die cutter work center. This hands-on leadership role will be responsible for machine setup, operation, programming, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, production scheduling, quality documentation, and employee supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with industrial equipment, machining, CNC programming, CAD and vector files, and team leadership. Experience in aerospace machining or other highly technical manufacturing environments will be considered transferable to corrugated converting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Operation and Technical Support

• Set up, operate, and monitor the corrugated flexographic printer and rotary die cutter.
• Interpret work orders, job specifications, drawings, CAD files, vector files, and tooling requirements.
• Create or modify machine programs, job files, and setup parameters as required.
• Perform machine changeovers, tooling changes, adjustments, and start-up checks.
• Understand the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system functions of the equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, identify root causes, and restore production safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with maintenance and technical support personnel when issues exceed the workcenter's capabilities.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and process improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready workcenter.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 5-10 years of relevant manufacturing, machining, industrial equipment, or production experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Demonstrated experience setting up and operating complex industrial machinery.
• Experience with CNC programming or comparable machine programming.
• Ability to interpret CAD files, vector files, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Ability to schedule production, labor, machine time, changeovers, and maintenance activities.

• Drafting, tooling, CAD/CAM, or machine setup experience.
• Experience with production metrics, OEE, downtime analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working under ISO 9001 and

systems.

• Experience participating in hiring, employee development, and performance management.

Production Scheduling and Execution

• Schedule production orders, labor, machine time, changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
• Assign daily work and coordinate activities among production associates, machine operators, and material handlers.
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer and production requirements.
• Monitor material availability, tooling readiness, machine capacity, and production priorities.
• Communicate schedule changes, constraints, and production risks to the Production Manager.

• Participate in employee selection, interviewing, and hiring activities.

• Perform first-article approvals and in-process inspections.
• Ensure production documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Verify finished products meet job specifications and customer requirements.

• Support corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and process improvements.
• Work closely with Quality Control regarding defects, inspections, and nonconforming product.
