Consider a career at GotPrint.com and be a part of one of the biggest forces in our industry! •We have an opening for a folder operator on our 2nd Shift from 2pm-1030pm. •Stitching Operator sets up and operates machine to automatically gather, stitch, and trim folded signatures or flat sheets of paper to form paper bound books, magazines, pamphlets, catalogs, or booklets. Requires a person who is great at prioritizing, organizing and planning daily work flow. This position requires the ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all employees. Tasks and Responsibilities Examines work orders to determine work instructions Adjusts feeder pockets to size of folded signatures or flat sheets Adjusts air pressure pump to separate sheets Sets stitchers for specified length and thickness of stitch and threads stitching wire into machine Sets trimmer knives to trim three sides of publication to specified size Readjusts machine setup if necessary, and regulates machine speed Takes periodic readings of counter and records number of publications produced or examines samples periodically for defects and records number as indicated on counter to determine when problem occurred Experience At least 2 years prior folding and/or stitching experience required
