High end manufacturing company producing precision, quality aerospace fasteners is looking for a Threadroll Set Up Operator to join their team in Burbank.

Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Threadroll Set-Up Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating thread rolling machines to produce high-quality components that meet strict aerospace and SPC (Statistical Process Control) standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a variety of thread rolling machines for different materials and diameters. Perform thread rolling operations in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Monitor and maintain SPC requirements throughout the production process. Measure and control critical dimensions, including major diameter, minor diameter, pitch, radius, and run-out length. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects such as laps. Perform acid etching as required for inspection and quality assurance. Verify proper die selection and alignment to ensure accurate thread formation. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues when machines fall out of tolerance. Utilize SPC software and comparators to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Threadroll Set-Up Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace. Strong understanding of thread rolling processes and machine setup. Experience working with a variety of materials and diameters. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with SPC systems and inspection tools, including comparators. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in aerospace fastener manufacturing. Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques. #ind
