Westaff is looking for Finishing Machine Lead for Manufacturer in Meriden, CT!

Shift:

6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to

Thursday Pay Rate:

$24/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to finishing operators, assisting with training, task prioritization, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to quality and production standards. Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Identify issues and bring them to management's attention. Assist other staff with all duties when assistance is needed. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws. Participate in all required internal training. Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines.

Machine Operator requirements:

Experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges Basic computer skills required Physical stamina and strength Must be able to stand for 10 hours Must be able to occasionally pick up 50lb boxes Military and Veterans are encouraged to apply!
