Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Cutter Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Polar or Saber cutting machines to produce high-quality products. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the cutting equipment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate the cutting machine according to job specifications Inspect incoming materials and finished products for quality assurance Make necessary adjustments to cutting equipment to ensure clean cuts and proper alignment Maintain accurate production records and complete timesheet Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical issues Work closely with press operators, bindery staff, and supervisors to meet deadlines Follow all safety protocols and company policies Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of [2] years of experience operating cutting equipment (Polar or Saber preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical drawings Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
