In this vital role, you will oversee the entire bindery process, ensuring high-quality production standards are met while maintaining a safe, efficient, and motivated team. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of print projects, from folding and binding to trimming and finishing, all while upholding the company's commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties Supervise daily operations of the bindery department, including folding, binding, trimming, and finishing processes Coordinate workflow to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality control protocols Oversee the setup and maintenance of machinery such as folder, cutters, and other finishing equipment Implement quality control measures by inspecting finished products for color accuracy, typography clarity, and layout consistency Manage inventory of bindery supplies and materials to ensure smooth production flow Enforce safety guidelines across all operations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions Collaborate with prepress teams on color management and layout adjustments for optimal print results Utilize graphic design skills and Adobe Creative Suite tools when necessary for troubleshooting or adjusting print layouts Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed to move materials efficiently within the facility Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or print finishing environments with a focus on bindery operations Strong knowledge of print advertising processes including folding, binding, trimming, and lamination techniques Familiarity with screen printing, flexo presS Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment safely in a manufacturing setting Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff and manage workflow effectively Join us as a Bindery Supervisor where your technical expertise meets your passion for leading teams!
