PRESS OPERATOR - 2ND SHIFT
Location:
Oldsmar, FL Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work as needed We are looking for an experienced and dependable Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position operates an aluminum extrusion press and requires strong attention to detail, mechanical ability, and a commitment to safety and quality.What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate an aluminum extrusion press according to specifications
- Change dies and tooling based on written instructions
- Use an overhead crane to safely handle hot dies
- Monitor gauges, temperatures, and automated press controls
- Perform quality checks and cut samples to verify tolerances
- Lubricate equipment and perform light preventative maintenance
- Remove metal scraps from the press using a chisel
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
