This position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine operator with the desire to learn a craft that can become a well paying career. The right candidate will have the ability to quickly learn to set up and run gluers for the folding carton industry. Troubleshooting through issues and following quality protocols. The successful candidate will be self-managing and will work well with others to improve the overall effectiveness of the manufacturing organization. Preferred minimum of 5 years of machine operator experience, good mechanical skills, and be capable of quickly learning our customer base and preferences. Will be required to know all our folder gluers (Bobst Domino 90, Jagenburg Diana 105, Wity, International). We do straightline, autobottom, 4 and 6 corner. They will be a good communicator who works well with other machine operators, assistant operators, and plant management. Pay will be based on initial assessment and higher range pay will come as new operator learns industry standards and can efficiently operate machines.
