3pm-11pm Monday-Friday (5% Shift Differential) Lead Pouch Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Pouch Machine Operator to lead our 2nd Shift Pouch Team. This role requires advanced expertise in pouch machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, heat-sealable materials, pouch trials, and production validations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while supporting team development and operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities Lead pouch production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules. Operate, set up, and troubleshoot pouch manufacturing equipment. Monitor and optimize interactions between pouch machinery and heat-sealable materials. Identify and resolve machine, material, and production issues to minimize downtime. Provide support for pouch validations, testing, and production trials. Train, mentor, and support pouch team members to achieve performance goals. Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Promote and maintain a safe working environment while adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, and management teams. Qualifications Required Advanced technical expertise in pouch machine setup, operation, system controls, and troubleshooting. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with heat-sealable materials in pouch production. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, GMP requirements, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Excellent technical, computer, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Previous experience leading pouch manufacturing operations. #IND2
