Die Cutter Operator

Responsibilities Set up and operate die cutting machines, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and safety protocols are followed. Monitor machine performance throughout production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects, accuracy, and consistency, addressing issues promptly to minimize waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times. Collaborate with prepress teams to review job specifications and ensure accurate execution of designs. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and reporting repairs needed. Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or other equipment when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience operating die cutting or similar manufacturing machinery is highly preferred. Knowledge of prepress processes and materials used in packaging production. Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures. Basic machining skills for machine setup and troubleshooting. Understanding of flexo press operations is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues quickly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
