We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable SMT Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated SMT assembly lines to produce high-quality Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and rigorous quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience 3-5 years with SMT equipment preferred. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual Position Responsibilities:
Set up and operate SMT machines (pick & place, screen printer, reflow oven). Load components and verify correct materials are used. Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments. Inspect boards for placement accuracy and defects. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate when needed. Follow production schedules and ensure minimal downtime. Maintain accurate production records.
Position Authorities:
Authorized to start, stop, and adjust SMT equipment within standard operating parameters. Authorized to stop the line if defects or misplacements are detected. Authorized to reject incorrect materials or components before use. Authorized to perform basic troubleshooting and escalate major issues. Not authorized to change programs, setups, or process parameters without approval (unless certified to do so).
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
