Job Description

The Print Operator II supports Action Packaging's post-print operations by operating and assisting with industrial printing/finishing equipment after training. This role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and a hands-on mechanical aptitude to set up jobs, monitor print quality, and keep production moving efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to be trained general warehouse duties. This is for first shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities :

Safely operate post-print presses and related production equipment in accordance with training, SOPs, and all safety requirements, including proper lockout/tagout and PPE use Set up print jobs (materials, tooling, settings, registration/alignment), verify specifications, and support efficient changeovers and material staging to meet production schedules Monitor print quality throughout production (color, alignment, coverage, defects), perform in-process quality checks, document results, and make approved adjustments or escalate issues as needed Maintain accurate production records, including job tickets, counts, scrap, downtime, and material usage Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace in alignment with 5S standards Assist with routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication checks, basic troubleshooting) and report mechanical concerns promptly

Desired Qualifications:

2+ year(s) experience in manufacturing, printing, converting, finishing, or machine operation. Ability to operate a computer and common computer-based applications Familiarity with quality control checks and documentation Experience with troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Production/warehouse environment with moving machinery, noise, and standing/walking for long periods Must be able to lift materials up to 50 lbs, push/pull carts, bend, reach, and handle materials safely PPE required as applicable (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.)

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
