Job Summary:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications and production schedules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor various production machinery, including presses, furnaces, and finishing equipment.
- Load raw materials into machinery and unload finished products.
- Perform routine quality checks on parts using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, production issues, or quality deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and continuous improvement.
- Perform minor machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting as required.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machine operation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, and safety manuals.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
