Saw Supervisor Benefits & Compensation Hourly pay: $25.00-$29.00 Quarterly gainsharing bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match and profit sharing Short-term disability and life insurance 10 paid holidays and PTO Flexible Spending Account Collaborative, team-oriented work culture with opportunities for growth Saw Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing, saw, machine shop, material handling, or related production environment Ability to lead teams, assign work, set production priorities, and ensure follow-through Willingness to learn material movement, steel identification, inventory procedures, and production workflow requirements Strong commitment to safety, quality, traceability, and documentation standards Clear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments Saw Supervisor Preferred Background & Skills Supervisory, lead, or coordinator experience in production/manufacturing Experience with saw operations, inventory systems, production records, nonconformance follow-up, or equipment such as crane scales Ability to coordinate material movement, scrap handling, and cross-department workflows Familiarity with reading and understanding production sketches or prints Saw Supervisor Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead, direct, and support saw department employees, including saw operators and material handlers Assign daily work, prioritize jobs, and manage workflow for the department Coordinate material flow by generating movement lists and directing steel movement Ensure completed jobs are accurately transferred to subsequent departments Oversee inventory accuracy, track nonconformance reports, and manage saw blade supplies Conduct safety meetings, reinforce safe work practices, and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the department If you have a passion for leading teams in a production setting and pride yourself on operational discipline, consider stepping into this critical role and shaping the future of a respected manufacturing organization.
