Production / OperatorJob Summary-
General Accountabilities -
- Set up, operate, and tend presses to run progressive dies.
General Accountabilities -
- Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications.
- Set up, test, and adjust presses according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
- Load material into presses.
- Load and setup dies into presses.
- Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
- Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or comparator and record on provided inspection sheets
- Examine completed workpieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
