Select Hinges manufactures, customizes, packages and ships commercial door hinges. Select Hinges has an open opportunity for a Fabrication Team Lead. In this position you will be responsible for: Overseeing the daily workflow of the department in partnership with the Supervisor Training and assisting associates with work processes and procedures Ensuring each workstation has the parts needed to keep production moving Inspecting and checking in parts to ensure accuracy and quality Assisting with inventory counts Troubleshooting machine and equipment issues with associates and escalating issues when necessary Providing input to the Supervisor regarding employee performance to assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations Helping prioritize work and addressing day-to-day production issues as they arise The ideal candidate will possess: High school diploma/GED Forklift certification or ability to obtain one Ability to learn and effectively use company software Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to routinely lift up to 25 pounds individually Ability to stand for several hours at a time Ability to tolerate repetitive motions
