Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printer & a Die Cutter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining screen printing equipment and die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality printed materials and custom-cut products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical proficiency in machine operation, color management, and graphic design principles, ensuring precision and consistency throughout the production process. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to innovative print advertising projects and manufacturing workflows within a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate large-format printers, screen printing presses, or die-cutting machines with precision, adhering to production specifications. Manage color accuracy through effective color management techniques, ensuring vibrant and consistent print results. Interpret production documents, including layout designs, specifications, and technical instructions, to facilitate accurate manufacturing. Perform routine maintenance and mechanical adjustments on industrial equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Execute prepress tasks using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with graphic designers on layout design, typography, and print advertising elements to achieve desired visual effects. Adjust machinery settings for different substrates, including paper binding and flexo press operations, to ensure optimal output quality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols for industrial equipment operation. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements related to machining, digital printing, or screen printing techniques. Experience Proven experience operating screen printing equipment, die-cutting machinery, or large-format printers within a manufacturing or print production environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment adjustment, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, along with prepress software tools. Familiarity with color management principles and print quality control standards. Knowledge of various printing methods including digital printing, flexo press operations, and screen printing processes. Understanding of layout design principles, typography, and print advertising requirements. Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and translate them into precise manufacturing actions. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
