Job Description
Position Overview The Centerless Grinding Department Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the centerless grinding department. This role involves supervising a team of mechanics, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing workflow. The Department Lead will work closely with other departments to meet production goals and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Supervision and Leadership Lead, train, and mentor a team of centerless grinding technicians and operators. Allocate resources effectively. Have input in performance evaluations and provide feedback to the CG Manager. Support the centerless grinding operations to ensure production targets are met. Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely completion of orders. Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize performance and achieve desired tolerances.
