Job Summary:
A Digital Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and operation of Digital printing machines to provide a product which meets customer quality and time requirements while meeting company profitability requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate, and maintain the digital printer and all associated equipment and supplies.
- Meet or exceed actual vs. plan run and make-ready goals of 100%.
- Complete all required MDI charts and understand them.
- Work in other areas as needed.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
- Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications.
- Strong Computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
- Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- (1) One +year Previous related experience preferred
- Production experience preferred
