Job Summary:

A Digital Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and operation of Digital printing machines to provide a product which meets customer quality and time requirements while meeting company profitability requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup, operate, and maintain the digital printer and all associated equipment and supplies.
• Meet or exceed actual vs. plan run and make-ready goals of 100%.
• Complete all required MDI charts and understand them.
• Work in other areas as needed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
• Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
• Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• (1) One +year Previous related experience preferred
• Production experience preferred

Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces.
