Position Summary:

The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring a variety of woodworking machines to produce quality wood components according to production specifications. This role requires intermediate machine operation skills, the ability to make machine adjustments, and consistent attention to safety and quality standards. Off Saw Glue Reel Operator Position Responsibilities:

Set up and operate assigned woodworking machinery safely and efficiently Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and production standards Inspect parts for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Perform trial runs and adjust tooling or machine settings as required Load, unload, and position materials and parts during production Select, install, and adjust saw blades, cutter heads, boring bits, and tooling using hand tools Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Identify equipment issues and report concerns to the supervisor Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times

Essential Skills and Experience:

Working knowledge of woodworking machinery and production processes Ability to read gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper machine operation Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and quality control Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Effective communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
