Job Description

Flexographic Press Operator This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to be a key player in the manufacturing process. This is a dynamic position that is very challenging and rewarding for someone who enjoys a fast paced, quality-oriented environment.

Proficiently set-up, adjust and operate a flexographic press and turrets with minimal direct supervision and within efficiency targets. Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the press. Read and review job order and understand processes required for production. Continuously monitor finished material on press, making necessary color or press adjustments to meet quality standards. Work as part of a team that is committed to producing a quality product and meeting company objectives in a safe and clean working environment. Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary. Prolonged standing with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs . Ability to work a second shift schedule (3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday) . Other duties as assigned to meet team objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses preferred , but will train the right candidate. Ink mixing, plate mounting and support experience . Ability to consistently produce product within customer specifications, with minimal number of production errors. Excellent trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and self-directed . Good communication skills. Willingness to work overtime hours as needed to meet customer requirements.
