Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Technician to join our production team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of print production, ensuring that every project meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy and visual impact. Responsibilities Execute complex press setups, including make-ready processes and precise color matching to ensure superior output quality. Operate industrial offset printing machinery, adjusting settings in real-time to maintain consistency throughout high-speed production runs. Interpret detailed job tickets and production schedules to optimize workflow efficiency and meet critical deadlines. Perform proactive equipment maintenance to ensure machine longevity and minimize unexpected downtime. Analyze print quality continuously, identifying and resolving deviations to reduce material waste and enhance operational throughput. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization, contributing to a clean and efficient production floor. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience operating offset printing presses. Demonstrated expertise in color theory, ink management, and print quality control. Strong proficiency in reading and executing complex technical job specifications and measurements. Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Technical proficiency with major press platforms such as Heidelberg, Komori, or KBA. Experience working with a diverse range of substrates, calipers, and specialized finishing materials. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
