Job Description

MCC seeks a Finishing Supervisor for 3rd shift to lead finishing operations in support of our global Christian relief and development mission. This role supervises a small production team, ensuring accurate, high-quality finishing, packing, and shipment of materials that resource MCC's programs. The supervisor will organize workflow, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and uphold safety and quality standards. Working in a collaborative, faith-driven environment, this position troubleshoots equipment issues, maintains inventory accuracy, trains staff and volunteers, and continuously improves processes to support efficient, mission-aligned operations. Responsibilities Supervise 3rd shift finishing staff and volunteers to meet production goals Plan and assign work orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when needed Ensure adherence to all safety, cleanliness, and equipment procedures Coordinate packing, labeling, and shipment of finished materials Maintain accurate inventory counts and update production records Train, coach, and evaluate team members on processes and standards Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency Collaborate with day shift and other departments for smooth handoffs Model MCC's Christian, service-oriented values in daily operations Required Skills Production scheduling Quality control inspection Team supervision Workload prioritization Safety compliance Machine operation oversight Process improvement Data and metrics reporting Conflict resolution Basic computer skills
