Set up and adjust punching head per the thickness of the job being ran. Start machinery and make adjustments when necessary to improve performance. Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions. Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance as needed. Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. Comply with all safety and health regulations. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and free of any safety hazards. Sort, label and package finished product based on customer specifications. Load and unload chase with cutting die into the machine based on job specifications. Must use micro adjustments for pile height and centering of job as needed. Utilize MMS bindery tablets for scheduling of same day jobs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 1 year's experience using Polar or Heidelberg cutting machines and general printing process preferred. Ability to measure and count accurately. Knowledge of cutting programs on machines. Attention to detail. Good communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers. Ability to safely use hand/power tools. Ability to multi-task with changing priorities.
