We are a fast paced, rapidly growing organization that is looking for candidates with a proven track record of reliability and desire to grow with the company. As a Bindery Finisher you will be responsible for the final processing of created and printed materials. This includes tasks such as folding, stitching, trimming, binding, and other finishing activities. Essential Job Duties Assist in or operate binding equipment, such as perfect binders, saddle stitchers, or case binders, to bind books, brochures, or other printed items Use cutting equipment to trim excess paper or to square and trim products to the final desired size Operate stitching machines to stitch books and folders Inspect the finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency, checking for issues such as misalignments, damaged pages, or defects in binding Organize and bundle completed jobs, preparing them for packaging and shipment. This may involve labeling and wrapping products Perform regular maintenance and minor troubleshooting on bindery machines to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently Ensure that materials are fed into machines properly and manage the flow of products from one finishing process to the next, working efficiently to meet deadlines Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read a ruler and take exact measurements Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) Ability to understand work instructions in English Strong focus on quality and attention to detail Ability to operate pallet jack, dollies, and/or hand trucks Capable of working independently or in a team-oriented environment
