Job Description

Requirements Ability to set up and operate single hit and progressive dies. Ability to troubleshoot progressive dies and make adjustments when needed. Familiar with Wintriss SmartPac Controls is a plus. Ability to use standard measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gage etc. Ability to read blueprints, use part fixtures for dimensional specifications, and/or part gages In-depth knowledge of the processes, equipment used for metal stamping as well as being comfortable in the metal stamping environment. Job Description Perform typical progressive die set ups, tear downs, and press operations. Observe press in operation and make adjustments to control rate of production. Monitor tooling, press, and coil equipment during production to ensure it is working properly, i.e. watching gages, dials, etc. Regular quality inspections during production runs to ensure making good parts Communicate clearly and concisely with the supervisor, other production personnel or quality personnel when a problem arises. Maintain an accurate count of parts Extended periods of standing while operating press and running production Follow all prescribed safety regulations, i.e..
