Yes, we are a printing company but we also extrude adhesives, as well as develop and build machines for the fruit and produce industry. For 30 years, Superior Tape & Label has operated in Gresham, Oregon. Over the last 5 years, we have grown and added new equipment, product lines and employees. We began as a Flexographic Printing Company in one building on a quiet street in Gresham. We now fill up three buildings on the same street where we began which has allowed us to expand into Adhesive coating, Gravure printing, 3D printing and equipment design. Position We are hiring in our finishing departments which involves support of the main machine operator.

• Operating a machine
• Defect inspection
• Communication with the team Learn to manage a rewinding or spooling machine to remove defects and produce visually appealing, quality rolls of material that are in spec.

Communicate with the Shift Supervisor about defects, overages and shortages. Build rapport by showing that are committed to learning and can be relied upon to access opportunities for advancement. It is always our preference to train a Press Operator or Coating Operator when they have experience in one of our Finishing Departments. Would you be a good fit? We're looking for someone who is dependable with great attendance record who enjoys learning, working with machines, and being part of a team. If you're reliable and willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest. Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Mon - Thurs 5AM - 5PM Compensation $18 base (with room for advancement) with up to an additional $2.68/hour profit sharing monthly after introductory period.
