In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our Homag edgebanding equipment to produce high-quality cabinet, fixture, and millwork components. The ideal candidate has woodworking experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate Homag edgebanding equipment to apply PVC and wood veneer edgebanding to panel components. Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and production schedules. Adjust machine settings, including glue application, feed speed, temperature, and trimming functions to ensure quality results. Inspect materials before and after processing to verify accuracy, appearance, and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make adjustments to maintain production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning glue systems, changing tooling and completing preventive maintenance tasks. Work closely with CNC operators and saw operators to meet production goals. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all company safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience operating edgebanders, CNC equipment, panel saws, or other woodworking machinery preferred. Experience with Homag equipment is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure and accurately use digital calipers. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production paperwork. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently lift, push, or move materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely handle large wood panels and finished components. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
